The group’s huge two-storey restaurant launches in in Westfield Stratford on 29 September with 250 covers inside as well as an outside terrace that seats a further 150 people. The venue will have a nine-metre bar serving up more than 500 different bourbons, tequilas and whiskeys, a rum bar on the first floor and a large theatre kitchen. There will also be a stage that will host live music each evening.
The menu will be similar to that at the group’s Canary Wharf, Chelsea, and Covent Garden venues with a focus on barbecued meat, steaks, lobster and seafood, burgers and sandwiches.
Dishes will include steamed Nova Scotia lobster served with garlic butter; lobster mac and cheese, and a Nashville hot chicken sandwich alongside its range of meat platters of barbecued meat cooked over wood for 16-18 hours.
The Stratford restaurant will also continue the brand’s themed nights, including its Big Pig Gig or limitless barbecue on Mondays; shrimp Tuesdays; Wing Fest Wednesdays and steak, lobster and wine dinner on Thursdays as well as a £10 weekday lunch offer featuring items such as a barbecued pulled pork sandwich; lobster rolls; BBQ Platter; steak and chips; and burgers – all served with slaw, chips and a soft drink.
