Now in their ninth year, the food media-focused awards were presented at The Royal Exchange by Claudia Winkleman and Angela Hartnett, with the latter chairing the judging panel.
The Judges’ Choice Award went to Tatler critic Fay Maschler for her 'long-standing dedication to restaurant writing'.
The Fortnum & Mason Special Award, meanwhile, went to chef Larry Jayasekara who 'worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to feed the NHS.'
Tom Kerridge won the Programme Award for the ‘timely, critically-acclaimed’ Saving Britain’s Pubs while Calum Franklin took home the Debut Cookbook awards for The Pie Room.
Other winners included Guardian critic Grace Dent for her autobiographical book Hungry; Sami Tamimi and Tara Wigley for Falastin: A Cookbook; and James Martin, who was awarded Personality of the Year.
