The Londoner hotel will launch in Leicester Square next month and boast six separate F&B concepts, all overseen by former Nobu events and private dining manager Amir Jati.

Part of Edwardian Hotels London, The Londoner is billed as the 'world’s first super boutique hotel'. Spread across 16 floors, the £300m development has been designed in collaboration with world-renowned architectural designers Yabu Pushelberg, and will have 350 bedrooms.

Jati has created the hospitality offerings in partnership with The Londoner’s executive chefs Matt Downes, Shailesh Deshmukh and Neil Armstrong.

The concepts include all-day brasserie Whitcomb’s; Champagne-centred breakfast, tea and caviar spot The Stage; rooftop izakaya lounge 8 at The Londoner; and neighbourhood-style pub and gin bar Joshua’s Tavern.

There will also be two outlets only open to residents of the hotel. They are private club and whiskey bar The Residence; and health and wellness concept Refuel.

Led by former Nobu chef Kuenhi Won, 8 at The Londoner will serve a selection of Japanese-inspired small dishes and signature plates; an extensive robata offering with meat, fish and vegetarian options; and a moriawase section with tartare, sashimi and sushi rolls.

Whitcomb’s, meanwhile, will be The Londoner's 'signature' restaurant and offer a seasonal, Mediterranean-focused à la carte menu created by Deshmukh.

Dishes will include escargot with white wine, garlic and n'duja lemon butter; and seared filet mignon with chanterelle and aged parmesan crème.
