Boparan Restaurant Group is bringing five of its restaurant brands together to create a new dining concept called The Restaurant Hub.

Brands Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK), Slim Chickens, Ed’s Easy Diner and the new Caffe Carluccio’s, which launched last month in the St Alban’s Sainsbury’s superstore will sit alongside Harry Ramsden’s, in collaboration with Deep Blue Restaurants, at The Restaurant Hub, which is opening on 28 July in Sainsbury’s Superstore on Selly Oak Boulevard in Birmingham.

Diners will be able to mix and match dishes from any of the brands at the 180-cover space. Each brand will serve its signature dishes for eat-in, take-away and delivery including burgers from GBK, buttermilk chicken tenders from Slim Chickens, fish and chips from Harry Ramsden’s, footlong hot dogs and breakfast from Ed’s Easy Diner and coffees, pastries and sandwiches from Caffe Carluccio’s.

“The Restaurant Hub brings our and our partner’s most popular brands together in one place, offering diners the chance to access an array of signature dishes and to mix and match all their favourites in one meal occasion,” says  Satnam Leihal, managing director at Boparan Restaurant Group.

“We have ambitious growth plans and are actively looking for city centre, travel hub and neighbourhood sites across our brands.”

The Boparan Restaurant Group operate more than 100 venues in the UK across nine brands, which also include FishWorks, Cinnamon Collection, Giraffe, Giraffe Stop, and WonderTree. The group has also recently expanded into retail with a trial partnership of Caffe Carluccio’s and Carluccio’s Counter in select Sainsbury superstores.
