Kutir chef Rohit Ghai to head up IKSHA 360 in Qatar
Kutir chef patron Rohit Ghai has partnered with Qatar-based hospitality group Fork & Knife to head up Indian fine dining restaurant IKSHA 360 in Doha.

Ghai will remain based in London and look to visit IKSHA 360, which is billed as 'one of the highest Indian restaurants in the world', a few times a year to work with the Fork & Knife team to develop the menu and concept.

He is also expected to work with the group on other new concepts in the future, and will also oversee the growth of its recently launched street food venture Jaldi Jaldi.

The menu at IKSHA 360 will largely focus on small plates and include dishes such as slow-cooked lamb shanks; paneer palak kofta; and prawns ghati masala.

There will also be 'signature' dishes of chicken curry pie; and slow-cooked beef biryani.

Desserts, meanwhile, include cassata kulfi; rose falooda; and chocolate chilli bomb with hot chocolate sauce.

Ghai launched modern Indian restaurant Kutir in 2018, having previously spent more than a decade at the helm of various Michelin-starred kitchens, primarily based in the capital.

They include Bombay Bustle; Jamavar, where he earned a Michelin-star in under a year; Gymkhana; Hoppers; Trishna; and Benares.

He also spent time cooking at Verandah in Copenhagen.
