Lunar Pub Company to open Ganymede in South Kensington in September
Lunar Pub Company, which owns The Hunter’s Moon pub in South Kensington, has confirmed that it will open its second London location in September.

Launching on Ebury Street in Belgravia on that the site that was once home to The Ebury Wine Bar, Ganymede is named after a Trojan aristocrat in Greek mythology who was kidnapped by Zeus and taken to the top of Mount Olympus to become the wine pourer to the Gods. It will be overseen by owner director Hubert Beatson-Hird and owner chef director Oliver Marlowe.

The launch menu will feature popular dishes served at The Hunter’s Moon, including foie gras parfait; Soy blackened salmon with stir fried bok choi, pickled daikon, fried garlic and ginger; and braised featherblade of beef with carrot purée, kale, triple cooked truffle and parmesan chips as well as new dishes such as sea bass paupiettes with crab and basil mousse, lobster bisque and chives; tagliatelle with morels, wild garlic, shallot cream and pangrattata; and raviolo of truffle, potato and egg yolk with roast chicken butter sauce and crème fraiche.

It will also serve brunch on Saturdays and roasts all-day Sunday. 

The pub will have a 30-cover bar and 46-cover dining room.

Lunar Pub Company ​was founded by former Chez Bruce chef Marlowe and former Fulham Mitre general manager Beatson-Hird and opened its first venue, The Hunter’s Moon, in autumn last year.
