The launch of Eggslut Shoreditch this August will bring the LA-founded fast-casual brand’s estate up to 12.
Shortly after the launch of its debut UK site in Notting Hill Eggslut announced plans for up to 10 locations on these shores.
Currently only London based, the brand is eyeing regional locations including Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Oxford, Manchester and Edinburgh.
Eggslut - whose signature dish is the Fairfax, scrambled egg and cheese in a brioche roll - is looking to open restaurants between 1,000sq ft and 2,000sq ft of trading space over one floor.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be opening our third UK site in Shoreditch. For us, it is a dream come true to launch eggslut in this hotspot full of character and creativity," says operations manager Bruno Pires.
"We are looking forward to serving new egg lovers and bringing eggslut closer to our fans all across London. We are really proud to be pioneering the trend of the humble egg and will continue to bring our gourmet concept to new areas of the UK.”
Eggslut started life as a Los Angeles street food business in 2011 when it was founded by chef Alvin Cailan, opening its first bricks and mortar restaurant in LA’s Grand Central Market.
It now operates five restaurants stateside alongside sites in South Korea, Japan and Kuwait City.
