Notting Hill's Taqueria to open a second venue in Exmouth Market
Popular neighbourhood taco restaurant Taqueria is to open a second site in the capital, 16 years after making its debut in Notting Hill.

Opening later this month in Exmouth market, it will be headed up by executive chef Adam Pawlak, who has spent 12 years in the kitchen at the Westbourne Grove restaurant.

Menu items will include the range of tacos already available at the original restaurant – including its roadside chicken, green chile and potato and potato crispy tacos - as well as items such as al pastor pork quesadilla; and sea bass ceviche tostada.

It will have an extensive collection of margaritas, mezcales, tequilas and micheladas.

The new venue is also set to serve a new weekend brunch menu later in the summer featuring dishes such as loaded breakfast quesadillas, tortitas and rancheros.

Taqueria started out as a Cool Chile Co food stall on Portobello Road before finding a bricks and mortar home on nearby Westbourne Grove in 2005.

“Now we believe the time is right to take the next step,” says operations manager Ismael Munoz. “We have a fantastic corner position in Exmouth Market with thirty covers outside and seventy inside so we’re ready for a fabulous summer of welcoming friends new and old.”
