First time restaurateur Irina Linovich will open a plant-based restaurant within Knightsbridge wellness and beauty destination Urban Retreat early next month.

Holy Carrot is hoping to offer Londoners a ‘new way of experiencing and enjoying vegan food’ with a menu that ‘focuses on using ethically sourced seasonal produce prepared in a mindful manner’.

All dishes are free from preservatives, refined sugar, additives and are ‘led by the very best seasonal organic British produce’.

Dishes include organic glazed tofu with an aubergine, red pepper and peanut sauce; and raw red pepper burrito; and Holy Carrot Cake.

The drinks menu is focused on fresh juices, smoothies and cocktails including the Dream Green (spinach, kale, cucumber, avocado, vegan protein and flaxseed) and Rose Negroni (VII Hills Gin, rhubarb liqueur, Little rose and rose vermouth).

“When we came up with the idea to launch a vegan restaurant in Knightsbridge, we wanted to make sure that we brought an element of fun to eating vegan food,” says Linovich.

“Carrot symbolises the fun and intriguing element of the brand, and Holy represents the healthy nature of our dishes. The menu is very much led by the very best seasonal organic British produce and we take great care to ensure that the produce is ethically sourced and sustainable.”

Holy Carrot will be in soft launch from 1 to 9 of June offering guests 50% off the total food bill before officially opening on 10 June.
