WingShack Co to open seven new restaurants in 2021
WingShack Co has unveiled ambitious expansion plans with five new locations expected to open in London alongside a further two outside the capital this year.

Restaurants sites have been secured in Brixton, Bromley, Finchley, Camden, and Soho, along with Manchester and St Albans.

Founded by Josh Jarvis in Loughton in 2017, WingShack Co has locations at Good Mixer in Camden and Selfridges & Co alongside delivery kitchens in Canary Wharf, Battersea and Clerkenwell.

“It’s been a crazy year for everyone, but I really believe it’s been a year of opportunity for us. We’ve managed to remain positive throughout and so many great opportunities have arisen for us to expand our business quicker than we could’ve imagined,” says Jarvis

“We are extremely confident about our brand and can’t wait to open our planned stores so more people can have that Wing Shack experience. I am especially excited about our site in Brixton as my business partner is from Brixton and grew up there, which gives it an authentically local touch.”

WingShack Co’s menu is focused on chicken wings and burgers served with various sauces, including jerk, BBQ, Chang’s honey and sesame, and tangy buffalo.

It also offers a number of vegetarian options such as the ‘Edgy Veggie’ burger with charred halloumi, soy marinated mushroom, tomato relish and hummus.

WingShack Co is one of many chicken specialists to announce aggressive expansion plans.

US fried chicken brand Popeyes is making its UK debut this year and hopes to open as many as 350 site on these shores,  Philippines-founded chain Jollibee plans to open 10 more sites this year; and Wasabi founder Dong Hyun Kim is set to rapidly expand South Korean fried chicken brand Pelicana in the capital following the acquisition of four sites.
