A Facebook post reads: "The idea behind the opening is to try to get our loyal regulars in to celebrate our ‘rebirth’. You know who you are, you have been with us through thick and thin and helped to support us through our many highs and lows.
"Not only will it be great to see your faces again but it also gives you a bit of nostalgic bragging rights to tell everyone now and forever, that after the great pandemic of 2020 to 2021 (wishful thinking), you were the first to step back onto hallowed ground and sup the first legal pint from a licensed premises in Hudd’s at one minute past midnight."
Around 15,000 pubs across England are expected to reopen for outdoor service next week.
Pub giant Wetherspoons is opening 394 of its pubs across the country from 9am, while Young’s will welcome outdoor drinkers from around 11am at 140 branches.
