Located on Kensington High Street, the 48-cover restaurant launched quietly in early December before closing when tighter lockdown introduced across the capital just before Christmas.
It has now begun operating a delivery service via Deliveroo.
Pascor’s menu revolves around the cooking styles of countries situated in the Aegean section of the Mediterranean Sea including Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Turkey; with a focus on mangal cooking.
Its namesake coming from the word for feeding and nourishing, the restaurant serves a range of smaller and larger sharing plates.
Smaller dishes include Pascor’s clay-baked bazlama-style breads available with a seection of meze dips including Ottoman-style hummus with sumac; Cyprian tzatziki with cucumber and hung yogurt; and wood-fired, Levant-style baba ganoush with toasted almonds and pomegranate.
Larger dishes prepared on the mangal include smoked slow-cooked short rib of beef; Spanish grilled octopus with blood orange, pumpkin and samphire; and smoked brown butter cauliflower with egg yolk and hazelnut gunpowder.
Desserts, meanwhile, feature baklava cheesecake with poached cherries and roasted pistachio; and dark chocolate delice with salted caramel.
The restaurant's design features exposed brick walls and accents of velvet. A first floor bar area is set to launch when the restaurant reopens later this year.
