The first limited-edition Wonderland At Home box, which is being launched simultaneously in the UK and US, will celebrate the global film release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League on 18 March. Boxes will be available for delivery between 15 April until 27 May.
The Justice League themed dining experience is inspired by the stories and DC characters from the Justice League including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman and The Flash. Consumers will be able to create a reinvention of the fan favourite Big Belly Burger, one of the fast-food brands from the DC universe, drink Koul Brau beer and Jitters Coffee as well as make a Smallville-inspired dessert.
In addition, each box will contain surprise AR sensorial ‘extras’ designed to heighten the at-home experience.
“Created out of lockdown, Wonderland At Home is here to disrupt the at-home dining experience and bring adventure to the table,” says James Bulmer, chief creative officer at Wonderland Restaurants.
“Using Warner Bros’ biggest and most emotive intellectual properties we’re delivering fun and whimsical storytelling direct to people’s homes and onto their plates. For the first time, we are offering fans an incredible opportunity to connect on a much deeper level with their favourite movies and TV shows.”
Boxes for UK customers are priced at £100 for two people with further limited-editions inspired by more of the most popular and beloved Warner Bros’ franchises expected to be launched in the future.
Wonderland Restaurants is working on the opening of a multi-faceted Batman-inspired restaurant in the former MASH steakhouse in London’s Soho. Called Park Row, it was due to open this spring year but the restaurant opening has been delayed because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
