The launch follows the success of the Indian restaurant group’s debut regional delivery kitchen in Brighton and joins six further delivery sites in London.
Each delivery kitchen serves a curated selection of dishes from Dishoom's restaurant menu ‘that are both much-loved and can abide a little travel’.
They include favourites such as chicken ruby; house black daal; jackfruit biryani; and mattar paneer.
The team has also developed some delivery-only dishes, including lunchtime-only kathi rolls (chicken or paneer in makhani sauce in a wholewheat paratha wrap); and pepper lamb curry.
Soft drinks are available all day including Bombay sodas, Limca and Thums Up, and Dishoom’s own mango lassi.
Alcohol is served from 5pm Monday to Friday and all day at the weekend, and include Dishoom’s own IPA and a selection of Dishoom-branded bottled cocktails.
Dishoom - which is working with Deliveroo on an exclusive basis - says all dishes are packaged as sustainably as possible using cardboard from sustainable sources, reclaimed and renewable sugar cane pulp packaging, and carbon-neutral PLA (a smart compostable bioplastic made from plants).
Dishoom opened its original Covent Garden restaurant in July 2010, and currently operates five sites across the capital.
It made its regional restaurant debut in Edinburgh in 2016, and opened a restaurant in Manchester in 2018 and a restaurant in Birmingham last year.
