Dessert parlour brand Creams to make debut in Wales Cardiff opening
Dessert parlour brand Creams is to make its debut in Wales later this month as it looks to accelerate its plans for further UK expansion.

The chain's new site on Cardiff’s Queen Street will be its 91st UK opening and initially offer takeaway and delivery only via Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

It will subsequently open for dine-in customers when restrictions allow, and feature 56 covers spread across two floors plus an additional 18 seats outside.

Creams, which was acquired by Pistachio Holdings last month, says it is planning another five to six UK launches in the first quarter of 2021.

While the majority of the group's cafés are run be independent franchisee partners, the Cardiff site will be company owned.

Designed by Nest Studios, the new café's interior is inspired by skateboard culture and utilises raw materials and modular design techniques with BMX bikes, skateboards neon signage and graffiti.

The menu will feature all of Creams’ signature serves, including sundaes made with gelato from the brand’s own factory in East London; waffles; cookie dough desserts; and crepes.

Creams’ brand-new doughnut range will also be available (for delivery only), alongside a selection of vegan and gluten-free choices.

“We’re really excited to bring our fabulously flamboyant desserts to the people of Wales," says Adam Mani, CEO of Creams.

"Despite the challenges of 2020, I am immensely proud that the brand has been able to continue with its expansion plans.

"I’d like to thank every single Creams Café employee for their continual hard work and dedication.”
