Gordon Ramsay lines up three openings in as many days with Street Burger launch One New Change London
Gordon Ramsay has confirmed the opening of his first Street Burger restaurant, which will launch this Thursday (3 December) at One New Change in the City of London.

It will be one of three new restaurants expected to open under the chef's name in the capital this week, with the recently announced Gordon Ramsay Burger in Harrods and Street Pizza Southwark also due to launch in the coming days following the lifting of national lockdown restrictions.

The Street Burger concept will be modelled on Ramsay's Street Pizza brand, with all burgers priced at £15 and served with seasoned fries and unlimited soft drink.

Burger options include the 'O.G.R.' burger with Lake District beef patty, smoked cheese, house relish and salad; the vegetarian 'butternut bhaji' burger with a butternut squash and courgette patty, masala, mango chutney, and coriander and mint yoghurt; and a 'Hell's Kitchen' burger featuring Lake District beef patty, jalapeño and Padron pepper salsa, smoked cheese and smoked sriracha sauce.

Announcing the launch over the weekend via social media, Ramsay said the concept is 'somewhat unique'.

"The fitout is amazing; the burgers are beautiful; the blend is incredible," he said.

The chef added that the potatoes used for the Street Burger fries will be sourced from the Pierre Koffman range.

Ramsay previously outlined intentions to launch Street Burger back in August, when it was reported that his ambition to 'create a billion-dollar dining proposition' had been undented by the Covid-19 pandemic, with the chef laying out plans to open 50 new UK sites.

This expansion is expected include a nationwide rollout of his Bread Street Kitchen concept, which he originally launched at One New Change a decade ago.

Ramsay's current UK portfolio is concentrated in the capital, and also includes a number of singular, high-end restaurants such as the three Michelin-starred fine-dining flagship Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea; Petrus in Belgravia; and Lucky Cat in Mayfair.
