Skylight Christmas at Tobacco Dock will play host to a rooftop igloo village, various bars and a cinema.
A Bavarian-inspired menu serving ‘indulgent’ food will be available throughout the Docklands-based venue with dishes including chicken schnitzel, beechwood-smoked bratwurst, slow-cooked beef cassoulet and tartiflette, with vegetarian and vegan options also available.
The Christmas Cocktail Cinema will be showing back-to-back classic Christmas movies throughout the run, including Love Actually and Die Hard.
The cinema will be an adults-only experience and will serve delicious themed cocktails and gourmet snacks.
Under Tier 2 restrictions, indoor bookings (including igloos) are available for same-household groups and support bubbles of up to six people while outdoor bookings are available for mixed household groups of up to six people.
Skylight Christmas joins a number of other large venues set up to offer winter alfresco dining experiences in London.
Next month will also see the launch of Truman’s Social Club, which is being billed as the UK's biggest beer hall.
Within East London's Truman brewery, the venue will have a capacity of 700 and offer a choice of 20 beers alongside food prepared by a rotating line-up of East London food traders, including Zero Sushi and Last Night A Vegan Saved My Life.
Early next year, Alex Ghalleb will spearhead a multi-faceted restaurant venture within the grounds of a Grade I-listed former church in Marylebone that will include a restaurant headed by high profile Israeli chef Elior Balbul.
