The owners of Latin American and Mediterranean restaurant and bar Zuaya in Kensington are opening a sister Italian restaurant next door.

Spanish twins Alberto and Arian Zandi will open Como Garden next month serving a menu of sharing dishes from across all of Italy’s regions.

Menu items will include pasta, meat, fish and vegetarian dishes in tapas and sharing formats with a strong focus on seasonality.

The drinks list will feature wines from across Italy as well as a cocktail menu of Italian classic drinks including a Negroni, Aperol spritz and Bellini.

As the name suggests, the interior will be inspired by Lake Como and the botanical gardens found in the Lombardy region with a green and cream colour palette throughout along with foliage displays, hanging plants and statues influenced by the Italian renaissance era.

The restaurant will also have a large bar area.

Zuaya opened in Kensington in 2018.
