Launching under the brewer and bar group’s DogHouse brand, the hotel will have 25 rooms and feature Punk IPA on tap in every room, as well as ‘shower beer’ fridges.
It will also have both a bar and terrace area on street level, as well as a rooftop bar area.
BrewDog currently operates two hotel brands – DogHouse and Kennels – across three sites globally.
In Columbus, in the US state of Ohio, the company operates both a DogHouse hotel and a BrewDog Kennels, the latter of which is described as a city centre mini-hotel concept located above a BrewDog bar.
It also operates a second Kennels site in Aberdeen, Scotland.
In April last year BrewDog announced that it was looking for a site in London to launch under the DogHouse hotel brand, although it is not known if this project remains on the cards.
Meanwhile, earlier this year BrewDog set out plans to open drive-thru locations worldwide in the UK, US, Australia and Germany.
The group said the project comes under its ‘commitment to sustainability’, with the drive-thrus operating as ‘beer collection points’, with ‘hubs for electric vehicle deliveries’; and for ‘closed loop, zero-waste packaging' such as growlers, mini-kegs and returnable bottles.
