Italian kitchen concept La Mia Mamma is to convert its pop up site on Hollywood Road in London's Chelsea into a permanent location.

The group originally launched its Chelsea pop up in July following the lifting of lockdown restrictions, having previously held a location on the King's Road.

As well as taking over the Hollywood Road site permanently, La Mia Mamma says it also plans to reopen its King's Road restaurant early next month.

La Mia Mamma's concept is pivoted around a brigade of Italian 'chef-moms', each one hailing from a different region of Italy.

Every three months, the kitchen switches to focus on a different region of Italian cuisine.

While the Hollywood Road restaurant will continue to focus on dishes from the Campania region for now, the King's Road site will relaunch by showcasing the food of Lazio.

Dishes set to feature include coda alla vaccinara (oxtail stew); rolled and stuffed pork roast; baccalà romano (Roman cuttlefish); saltimbocca alla romana (veal rolls stuffed with Italian ham and sage); and 'aromatic' lamb chops.

All mains will be paired with greens including chicory shots; roasted potatoes; and vegetable fritti.

There will also be a range of Roman pasta dishes available including carbonara; cacio e pepe; amatriciana; and gricia.
