Gordon Ramsay's Street Pizza set for Southwark
Gordon Ramsay has confirmed he is to open his third Street Pizza site next month in London's Southwark.

Announcing the opening yesterday (29 October) via social media, Ramsay said the restaurant would be located directly underneath Union Street Café and, like his Street Pizza sites in Camden and St Paul's, will offer diners 'bottomless' pizza for £15 alongside a menu of 'signature' cocktails.

"You may think it's crazy opening a restaurant across these torrid times, but we are going to bounce back and we have to get this economy kickstarted and back to where it was," he said.

Ramsay previously outlined intentions to open a third Street Pizza site back in August, when it was reported that his ambition to 'create a billion-dollar dining proposition' had been undented by the Covid-19 pandemic, with the chef laying out plans to open 50 new UK sites.

This expansion is expected include a major rollout of his Bread Street Kitchen concept across the UK.

Earlier this month it was also announced that Gordon Ramsay Burger is to open its first UK site at Harrods in London's Knightsbridge before the end of the year.

Ramsay's current UK portfolio is concentrated in the capital, and also includes a number of singular, high-end restaurants such as the three Michelin-starred fine-dining flagship Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea; Petrus in Belgravia; and Lucky Cat in Mayfair.
