Similarly to the original Tandoor Chop House site, which opened in Covent Garden back in 2017, the new restaurant is 'inspired by the communal eateries of Northern India and the classic British chop house'.
The menu will include a selection of small plates such as bhaji onion rings with smoked aubergine raita; chickpea chaat with tamarind, pomegranate and green chilli; and seekh kebab rolls with green chutney. F
From the tandoor there will be the restaurant’s 'signature' house tandoor chicken, as well as a black pepper chicken tikka; tandoor roasted cauliflower; and amritsari crispy lamb chops.
A selection of sides will also be available including house-made naans, made with a choice of green chilli, garlic or mature cheddar; black dhal; and nimbu masala fries.
The restaurant will also offer a range of dishes to have featured on the menu of spin-off concept Tandoor Tacos, which recently launched at Ennismore's Hoxton hotel in Southwark.
Five taco options will be available and include 'A Peas Yourself’, stuffed with chickpeas, ginger, garlic and chilli; ‘The Jack Route’ with jackfruit tikka, charred aubergine raita, pickled carrot, swede and red onion; and the ‘Tikka Chika’ with chicken tikka jalfrezi, pickled onion and cucumber, pomegranate and coconut.
Ennismore's portfolio features a range of high-profile hotel and restaurant businesses including the world-famous Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland.
