Seven Dials Market to reopen in August
Seven Dials Market will become one of the first of London’s major food halls to reopen post-lockdown when it opens its doors on Friday 7 August following five months of closure.

Seven brands - Pick & Cheese, Club Mexicana, Nanban, Yum Bun, Strozzapreti, Truffle, and El Pollotewill – will be returning to the indoor food hall, located in Covent Garden, and while they are not participating directly in the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme, a number of promotions will be available for consumers.

On Mondays, the market will offer an all-you-can-eat rotating cheese bar at Pick & Cheese for £20 per person, and the ‘Yum Bun yum cha’, a ‘picnic’ of Yum Bun sharing classics for £20.

The market will also now allow for bookings, cashless orders via click & collect, and will offer table service.

New opening hours will be limited to Friday through Monday, open from 5pm to 10pm on Fridays, 12pm to 10pm on Saturdays, 12pm to 6pm on Sundays and 12pm to 10pm on Mondays throughout August.

“We’ve got this gorgeous, soaring, double-height, space that’s just been sitting there, redundant, and it needs life and soul and food in it,” said Petra Barran, founder of Kerb and Seven Dials Market.

“We’re taking the plunge because we are bored of sitting around theorising and wondering.

“Of course we are taking all the necessary new steps, but we want to get back to doing what we love and creating a space for Londoners to come and eat and drink and just be.”
