The new venture will bring together the companies’ respective specialisms in property and finance to provide hospitality businesses with a range of professional services. Gerald Edelman will assist Shelley Sandzer’s existing and new clients seeking advice on raising private equity, debt finance, family office finance and other funding routes.
The business will also advise and assist those seeking to sell their company, or buy other companies as they look to grow.
“F&B operators need two pivotal services outside their own skill set: property advice and finance. The creation of Shelley Sandzer Corporate Finance delivers the perfect offer to satisfy these needs," " says Ted Schama, co-managing director of Shelley Sandzer.
"Working with a single team of trusted advisors, business owners will receive a truly rounded view that will provide greater value than working with separate companies."
"Clients will work directly with the most senior members of both companies, ensuring the best, most relevant and experienced advice is being provided directly to hospitality business owners," adds Richard Kleiner, CEO of Gerald Edelman.
“While the sector is facing challenges as it begins to emerge from the lockdown, we are confident Shelley Sandzer Corporate Finance can help operators navigate what lies ahead to emerge stronger and in a position to thrive.”
Shelley Sandzer recently partnered with Deliveroo and law firm Goodwin to publish a series of guides to help landlords and tenants work together, including Shelley Sandzer’s 3Cs philosophy of co-operation, collaboration and compromise.
