Located within The Stones Hotel, the restaurant will hold 80 covers and replace the hotel’s current on-site restaurant.
It follows a deal between Black and White, which owns the franchise rights to eight of Pierre White’s restaurant concepts, and David Matton, who took ownership of the hotel site in May 2013.
The menu, developed by Pierre White, includes 'a mix of childhood favourites and modern-day classics'.
Signature dishes include fillet steak served with fricassée of woodland mushrooms, extra virgin olive oil, vintage balsamico and buttered leaf spinach; the 'John Lennon' burger topped with melted cheddar, onion rings, and Colonel mustard mayonnaise; and roast rump of Moorland Lamb served with a chive blanket, rosemary roasting juice, buttered french beans and gratin dauphinoise.
“This is fantastic news for Salisbury," says Nick Taplin, chairman and CEO of Black and White Hospitality.
"The Steakhouse fits perfectly with the four-star environment of The Stones Hotel’s customer base and we’re hugely excited to work alongside David and his team to get this new venue open as soon as possible.”
Other Marco Pierre White concepts to feature in the Black and White Hospitality portfolio include Wheeler’s of St. James’s; Mr. White’s English Chophouse; Bardolino; and Wheeler's Fish & Chips.
