David Moore launches Pied à Terre Vegan offshoot
Available for delivery across London (as well as collection) every Saturday, Pied à Terre Vegan is described as having a 'simpler' offering than the restaurant's fine-dining approach, but one that's 'prepared with the same precision and premium ingredients that are central to the restaurant’s ethos'.
Costing £50, the Pied à Terre Vegan feast box is designed to feed two people and contains five sharing dishes, with the menu changing on a weekly basis.
Dishes can include a salad of broad beans, borlotti, cannelloni, fennel and mint; chilled roasted tomato soup with dill oil; and mushroom spelt risotto.
A wine supplement is also available, with bottles selected by the Pied à Terre team to complement the menu.
“At the absolute centre of our business is our customers," says Moore.
"What I have missed the most these past months is serving our customers, and providing them with outstanding food, drink and hospitality day in day out.
"It’s unclear how and when our industry will emerge from Covid19 but one thing is for certain - we all need to adapt and be ready to reach our customers in different ways.
"Pied à Terre Vegan is the perfect concept to enable us to do so - the traditional Pied à Terre offering is not right for delivery, but with the Vegan Feast we can offer Londoners a sophisticated, refreshing alternative to dining out. We’ve built a strong reputation and received numerous accolades for our vegan offering.
"We now have an opportunity to innovate and experiment further during lockdown - the service will add to our dining experience at the restaurant and help us bring Pied à Terre to a wider audience.”
