Chef patron Brad Carter says the service has been designed to bring elements of the Michelin-starred restaurant's eat-in experience to people's homes.
Customers can choose paired wines from the restaurant's wine list or speak to a sommelier over the phone to get bespoke recommendations.
Both priced at £90, Carter's of Moseley's meat boxes and fish boxes contain at least two meals for two people and contain some ready to eat items and some ingredients that need to be cooked. There is also a pork box and a box for four people.
"The main reason we did it is that I don't like to just roll over. There's always something that can be done," says Carter on his decision to keep his restaurant partly open through the pandemic.
"The other reason is that it keeps routine for us. It keeps us going to work at a certain time and it keeps us in my kitchen. It's different to what we normally do but it's still got the same thought and love."
The service keeps cash moving through the business and also supports Carter's key suppliers.
"My whole restaurant is based on ingredients and the relationships I have with my suppliers," he says. "There will be some casualties because of this, hopefully it won't be the people that I have been working with for 20 years. That makes up who we are."
