Owners Roger and Sue Jones will run a final service on 28 March before moving on to new ventures.
The property is being marketed by Christie & Co, which is offering the freehold interest in the restaurant at guide price of £735,000.
The Harrow held a Michelin star for 12 years until the 2019 edition of the guide and has won numerous awards including AA Restaurant of the Year 2011 and AA Wine List of the Year on two occasions for its 900-bin wine list.
The Jones’ said in a statement: “The decision has not been easy in many ways, but we feel that we have achieved everything we can and more, so it is time to move onto other things.
“Our experience has been made possible by the loyalty and support of our dear friends and family, not forgetting top suppliers, talented winemakers and an amazing trade that has seen us through so many highlights.”
The 34-cover restaurant sits in a detached three-storey building and is a mile from the larger village of Great Bedwyn.
Roger will continue to run his wine consultancy business in the UK and worldwide following the closure.
