Plant based grab-and-go concept Good To Go is to open a second London outpost on Charing Cross Road later this month.

The site has been ‘designed with speed and accessibility in mind’, and will feature a dedicated takeaway counter.

A wooden counter space with high stools will be available for guests wishing to eat in.

Good To Go servesa range of plant-based breakfast and lunch options including kale and red pepper shashuka with avocado, and either a tofu omelette or chickpea pancake; and banana blossom curry with brown rice, wakame, plantain, fried cucumber, and edamame beans.

The concept was originally founded by Tommy Mizen as a pop up within Old Street station in 2017.

Mizen subsequently established bricks and mortar site for the brand in The Bower business district of Old Street at the end of 2018.

“We’re really excited to expand Good To Go and continue to push the boundaries with our plant-based offering,” he says.

“There are a lot of misconceptions about plant-based dishes and our aim is to prove to people that eating healthy can be delicious.

“Charing Cross Road is a great location for us to open our second site and we’re looking forward to serving busy Londoners and visitors alike nutritious and tasty options that will fuel them for the day ahead.”
