Health-focused grab and go brand Pure is to launch its first airport site at Gatwick’s North Terminal next month.

Located on the terminal’s mezzanine level, it will be the London-based group’s biggest opening to date and the fifth within a major transport hub.

Pure, which was founded by Spencer Craig and Edward Bentley, currently operates 22 sites across the capital including in Waterloo, Victoria, London Bridge, and Liverpool Street train stations.

As with its other transport locations, the Gatwick restaurant will be entirely company-owned, with Pure saying it will aim to serve customers ‘in under a minute’.

The menu includes breakfast options of toasties; ‘Super Eggs’; birchers with yoghurt; and porridge. While a selection of baguettes, wraps, sandwiches, and salads are served all-day.

“Pure is ideally placed to fill the gap in food-to-go at Gatwick North,” says Craig.

“We are all incredibly excited to put our expertise and speed of service experience to work in our first airport location.

None of this would have been possible without our brilliant team who have risen to this challenge with unprecedented skill and determination”.

Pure opened its first site on Beak Street in Soho in 2009.
