London fish and chip group Kerbisher & Malt looks set to disappear from the high street after putting its final bricks and mortar restaurant on the market.

The company’s original site in Brook Green, which opened in 2011, is listed on Restaurant Property with an annual rent of £27,000.

Founded by chef Saul Reuben and Nick Crossley, Kerbisher & Malt grew to five restaurants in areas including Clapham, Ealing, East Sheen and Exmouth Market.

All these sites have since closed, but Kerbisher & Malt has been trading from Market Halls Victoria since 2018.

The brand is known for is sustainably sourced fish served battered, grilled or in a matzo meal, alongside double cooked chips and freshly made sauces.
