Spread over three floors and housing a cafe, restaurant, bar and roof terrace, Erpingham House Brighton will ‘see a modernisation of the brand and food, with consultants from Los Angeles curating the menu’.
“We’re incredibly excited to open in Brighton and contribute something new to an already flourishing hospitality scene,” says Erpingham House co-founder Loui Blake.
“Plant-based dining is a rapidly emerging trend, and we want to support more people in their quest to eat more sustainably, without sacrificing flavour or experience.
“Brighton is at the forefront of the plant-based food scene in the UK, so it made total sense to open here, in order for us to push the boundaries and innovate to drive the space forward.
“It’s important to us that we carry Erpingham House’s mission forward, but do so in a way that’s specific to Brighton and the local area.”
Erpingham House opened its first site in Norwich back in 2018, and is billed as the UK’s largest vegan restaurant.
Canna Kitchen, which opened in Brighton in 2018, was the UK’s first CBD- focused restaurant, but was forced to close less than a year after it opened after being raided by police. Its owner, Sammy Ben Rabah, was charged yesterday (13 February) with possession with intent to supply cannabis.
