We round-up some of the top hospitality stories you might have missed this week.

- The future of Marlon Abela's Mayfair hospitality empire is in doubt after his member's club Morton's and Michelin-starred restaurants The Square and Umu fell in to administration. It follows court action from HMRC to wind-up the businesses following non-payment of VAT.

- The AA is to start charging standalone restaurants with one or two rosettes a £180 fee to participate in the award scheme and appear in its annual guidebook. The AA says the charge is to help cover the cost of compiling the guide.

- Toby Burrowes has left his role as head chef at Phil Howard's Michelin-starred Elystan Street restaurant in Chelsea, citing a 'professional difference of opinion'. Burrowes worked at Elystan Street since it opened in 2016 and previously spent four years with Howard at The Square.

- D&D London is to launch a multifaceted dining space within the Pavilion at International Quarter London in Stratford. Split across three floors, the project will include a restaurant, cafe and rooftop bar.

- Nobu is reportedly set to close its restaurant on Berkeley Street in London's Mayfair after 15 years of trading. The move comes as the group prepares to open its second London hotel, in Marylebone, this summer.
