From Friday 14 February until 12 March M restaurant on London’s Victoria Street will be hosting a pop-up dining experience serving a five-course limited edition menu designed by M’s group executive chef Michael Reid.
The group will donate proceedings from the pop-up to Not For Sale, a global organisation that works to end human trafficking and exploitation through funding self-sustaining social projects in six continents.
The menu will comprise dishes that take inspiration from the six continents where Not For Sale funds self-sustaining social projects. It will feature a selection of Dutch-inspired snacks to begin with, followed by Peruvian tuna tacos, XO beef tartare from Vietnam, and lamb with artichokes and wheatgrass using the US as the point of reference. Dessert will be a Ugandan coconut ice cream with cucumber, lemon, olive oil and dill.
All profits from our pop-up restaurant will contribute towards the creation of a culinary academy that will support victims and those at risk, plus help raise awareness of the issues of human trafficking, according to M founder Martin Williams.
This will be the third year the group has run the pop-up, with a target of raising a total of £1m for Not for Sale by 2029.
