London-based hospitality company Green & Fortune is to oversee all hospitality and retail catering services at Central Hall Westminster as part of a £15m contract.

Under the partnership, which will commence on 1 March for a five-year period, Green & Fortune will manage two café locations including a 150-cover site within Central Hall.

Green & Fortune currently oversees event and catering services at two other London venues: Sea Containers on the South Bank; and Kings Place, where its portfolio includes ‘gate-to-plate’ beef and lamb restaurant Rotunda,

“We have been measured and selective both with our growth plans and our working partners since our launch in 2008,” says Green & Fortune chief executive John Nugent.

“Alongside Central Hall, we have ambitious plans to develop the product and the business over the coming years, whilst still retaining the solid ethos of both organisations.

“The venue’s focus on sustainability mirrors our own and we will be working to further enhance this between the teams.

“The Green & Fortune team are looking forward to innovating the food offer and enhancing service styles at this world-renowned venue.”

Nugent is also one third of trio behind Irish restaurant and bar Daffodil Mulligan, which he launched with chef Richard Corrigan and publican Tony Gibney on the former Nuala restaurant site on Old Street late last year.
