The highly-rated Brighton Indian restaurant fell into administration late last month following complications resulting from the launch of a second site in Guildford, which closed earlier this year.
Located at My Hotel in Brighton’s North Laine, the new wave Indian restaurant serves authentic dishes from all over the Sub Continent and has appeared on Restaurant magazine’s list of the top 100 restaurants in the UK.
The restaurant continued to trade throughout the brief administration period.
“The Chilli Pickle was forced into an administration due to the Guildford liability,” says Alun.
“It’s an unfortunate situation but Dawn and I will brush ourselves down and continue to progress the business by cracking on.
“Brighton is so special and is trading better than ever. It’s business as usual as far as our customers are concerned and it’s now heads down for the busy Christmas period”.
