Opening within the city’s mixed-use development The Interlock, which is currently under construction, the 25,000sq ft space will feature four ‘unique’ nine-hole competitive mini golf courses.
It comes as Puttshack, which offers mini golf alongside a menu of pizza, burgers, desserts and plant-based options, prepares for further expansion after completing a £30m equity raise with lead investor Promethean Investment earlier this year.
In July the business said it plans to launch a new site every 12 weeks from 2020.
Puttshack launched at the Westfield London White City shopping centre in 2018 and expanded to Intu Lakeside in Essex in August.
It will open its second London location, a 650-capacity site in Bank, this Friday (22 November).
A £5m Puttshack is lined up to launch at the Intu Watford shopping centre in 2020.
“As we expand into the US, Atlanta is a must-have market for Puttshack, and West Midtown is the perfect fit,” says Puttshack CEO Joe Vrankin.
“Our social entertainment experience is unlike any other; we’ve been blown away by the response to the concept in the UK, and we have no doubt we will see the same in Atlanta.”
Puttshack was founded by Steve and Dave Joliffe, creators of Topgolf, and Adam Breeden who is behind similar ‘competitive socialising’ concepts Flight Club, Bounce and All Star Lanes.
