All tables at Smoke & Dough will come with in-built lava coal pits, with diners able to grill the main meat and vegetable dishes themselves.
The all-you-can-eat menu’s meat selection includes wild garlic butter chicken skewers; pork spare ribs; and chimichurri beef skewers. While vegetarian dishes feature stuffed Portobello mushrooms; cottage cheese and vegetable shashlik; and chargrilled halloumi.
The menu also has a selection of breads, salads and charcuterie starters
Located on the Liverpool ONE Terrace, the 150-cover Smoke & Dough restaurant has opened alongside Aether by all-day restaurant and bar group The Alchemist; and the new flagship site for dessert-focused brand My Cookie Dough.
“We’re thoroughly excited to have opened our first location in the thriving Liverpool ONE, especially as part of the established dining hub of The Terrace,” says Smoke & Dough co-founder Deepak Bahuguna.
“This is an exciting new endeavour for us as we introduce our menu and concept to the UK market, and we are pleased to have the Liverpool ONE’s momentum propelling us.”
Earlier this year London saw its own share of restaurant openings that featured a table-top grill element, with Parrillan in Coal Drops Yard closely followed by modern Swiss-inspired restaurant Heritage in Soho.
