Gordon Ramsay’s Maze Grill on Grosvenor Square has quietly been rebranded as Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill.

The all-day restaurant (as first reported on by Hot Dinners) is described on its website as being inspired by American-style grills with a menu featuring ‘prime cuts of rare breed steaks’.

Choices include a 300g USDA rib eye steak; Wagyu sirloin; and a 1.3kg tomahawk steak to share.

The menu also features a ‘Truffle Shuffle’ burger; roasted octopus with almond sauce, chimichurri and shoestring fries; and a beef Wellington served with mashed potato and a red wine jus.

The opening Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill follows the chef’s decision earlier this year to close the original Maze restaurant on Grosvenor Square.

Ramsay subsequently opened Japanese-inspired concept Lucky Cat in its place.

Maze is notable for being where Jason Atherton made his name before going on to establish his own restaurant empire.

Atherton recently returned to Grosvenor Square to open his latest restaurant, The Betterment, directly opposite Ramsay’s Lucky Cat site.

Ramsay continues to operate two Maze Grill sites in Chelsea, on Park Walk and Royal Hospital Road respectively.
