Chick ‘n’ Sours to open fourth London site

The site, which runs over two floors and has 50 covers, will be the first operated under the brand to feature a dedicated take-away hatch.

Alongside a new lunchtime offering and monthly specials, the restaurant will also feature a full plant-based menu with dishes including a ‘No Way’ K-Pop burger; ‘No Way’ spicy nuggets; and fries served with vegan sriracha mayonnaise.

New drink options will include a range of £5 cocktails.

Chick ‘n’ Sours, which was founded by Clarke and Wolanski in 2015, currently operates sites in Haggerston, Covent Garden and Islington.

“It’s such a great location, tucked away but still in the beating heart of this wicked area,” says Wolanski.

 “We’ve always wanted a take-away hatch where you can come and quickly get your Chick ‘n’ Sours fix and finally we’ve found a site where we can make it happen.”

“With all the uncertainty looming over Brexit, we are just so grateful to be able to continue on our journey of spreading some fried chicken love,” adds Clarke.

As well as Chick ‘n’ Sours, Clarke and Wolanski operate premium grab-and-go fried-chicken brand CHIK’N.

Despite an initially successful launch on Baker Street in 2017, the pair admitted earlier this year​​ to having struggled to get to grips with the venture.

In May they opened a second iteration of CHIK’N on Wardour Street, with Clarke and Wolanski promising a more coherent approach.
