BigHospitality and Restaurant magazine publisher William Reed has unveiled a new trade show designed to support the growth of the burgeoning low to no beverage sector.

The event aims to showcase a broad spectrum of low and no-alcohol drinks brands from beers, ciders, wines and spirits, to craft sodas, adult soft drinks, cordials and mixers. It will do this through exhibitor stands and a live content programme of insight and trend analysis provided by HIM, MCA and other leading experts.

To be held on 17 and 18 June 2020 at The Old Truman Brewery in London, the Low 2 No Bev Show will be the sector’s first dedicated B2B show for the category, targeting drinks buyers in the on and off-trade.

“Declining alcohol consumption coupled with strong innovation in low and no-alcohol drinks indicates to us that the sector is set for strong growth and the community needs an opportunity to come together to better understand and realise the full potential that is out there,” says Andrew Reed, Managing Director of Exhibitions at William Reed.

“As a leading B2B media provider in this sector we have brought together the collective might of The Grocer, The Morning Advertiser, BigHospitality, Beverage Daily, HIM and MCA because we want to help our clients to make the most of this fantastic opportunity.

"We will provide them with an unrivalled opportunity to network, digest the latest sector insight and of course, to taste the latest products coming too and already available in the market,” Reed adds. “For 157 years, we have demonstrated thought leadership and we continue to monitor the market for opportunities and invest in new shows where we feel we can add real value.”

Diageo and Heineken, and no-alcohol drinks brands Everleaf and Stryyk, are already confirmed as exhibitors. William Reed anticipates strong interest from both big and small brands, 'ensuring a healthy blend of experience and fresh thinking in the room'.

The Low 2 No Bev Show is supported by a dedicated website. A newsletter will help galvanise and grow the low to no-alcohol trade community, which will aggregate news, analysis and insight from across William Reed’s print and online titles.

William Reed’s portfolio of established and successful trade shows includes Food & Drink Expo, Farm Shop & Deli Show and The Restaurant Show. It also owns The World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards.
