Starbucks is to expand its delivery partnership with UberEats to 11 UK cities following a successful London trial.

The coffee chain has been piloting Starbucks Delivers for several months and rolled out the service to Manchester and Glasgow this week.

It will become available in Leeds, Leicester, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen over the next few months.

Starbucks says the service, accessible through the UberEats app, will help it reach new customers.

The company has developed ‘unique packaging’ for delivery to ensure hot and cold menu items arrive in the same state as they would in store.

“We have made a significant investment in technology and product innovation which means that connecting with Starbucks is just a click away,” says Alex Rayner, general manager at Starbucks UK.

The UK expansion follows similar launches of Starbucks Delivers worldwide in the US, Canada, China, Japan, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mexico, Colombia and Chile.
