Sutton and Sons launch fried chicken restaurant
The group has opened Peck Peck on Graham Road, close to its Hackney Central fish and chip location.
With limited seating options, Peck Peck will primarily focus on takeaway dishes and will be available through Deliveroo.
Chicken will be 100% British free-range, and served in American-style crumb or fresh off the grill with the brand’s ‘signature’ peri-peri chilli sauce.
The signature launch Chic’n’Egg burger, designed by Sutton and Sons owner Danny Sutton, features a brioche bun with a grilled chicken thigh, two fried chicken tenders, bacon, egg, Monterey Jack cheese and ‘Dalston Chili’ mayonnaise.
Buffalo wings, served in a classic, spicy or ‘delux BBQ’ style, are also available, as is a vegan No Chick burger made with fried seitan, cheese and vegetarian bacon.
Sutton and Sons continues to operate a fish and chip shop in Islington, and in Stoke Newington where it also owns a fishmongers.
Following the closure of its faux-fish and chip pop up, the group has announced that all the vegan items have been added to the existing menus of its three permanent fish and chips shops.
