Italian street food company Civerinos has launched its third pizza bar in Edinburgh.

Dubbed the city’s ‘first pizza pub’, The High Dive has opened on St. Leonard’s Street in Newington.

Known for its New York-style wood-fired pizzas and modern Italian street food, said to be made from secret family recipes that have been passed down through generations, The High Dive promises ‘all day breakfast, world-class pizza and drinks until late’.

The menu features all day breakfast with home-made granola bowls, super fruit smoothies and Civerinos’s breakfast Works pizza of mozzarella, black pudding, pancetta, baked beans, BBQ sauce and parsley.

The main pizza toppings are eclectic, and include cauliflower, BBQ sauce, spring onion, pickled cucumber and sesame; rosemary, pepperoni, Italian sausage, garlic oil and burrata; and grated mozzarella, 'nduja sausage, fresh chilli and basil. Prices are between £6 and £8.

A dessert menu is also available featuring hot donuts served with whipped cream, and a Nutella calzone.

Civerinos currently has two other locations in Edinburgh as well as The High Dive, with the original Civerinos located on Hunter Square, and Civerinos Slice on Forrest Road.
