Cote bought Jackson + Rye and all-day group Limeyard from serial restaurateur Richard Caring for an undisclosed sum in 2016, with the intention to expand both concepts.
But the company was reported to be revaluating both brands in May last year, blaming “well-documented headwinds” hitting the sector.
Jackson + Rye closed sites in Guildford, Chiswick and Kingston in 2018, and pulled out of opening in Birmingham in late 2017 after failing to reach a deal with the landlord.
It is left with two remaining London restaurants, in Richmond and the City.
Limeyard currently operates two sites, in Ealing and Staines.
