Serata Hall is being launched by Albion & East, the Imbiba Partnership-backed group that also operates sister-sites Martello Hall in Hackney, Canova Hall and Cattivo, both in Brixton. It will open close to Old Street station and aims to bring ‘Edwardian detailing and pay homage to the Art-Deco era’.
The food will be similar to its other venues, with a range of pizza and pasta on offer, with dishes such as truffle tagliatelle with gorgonzola, walnuts, mushrooms, truffle oil, pink peppercorns, salsa di noci and thyme; and 12-hour cooked beef rigatoni on the menu.
It will also serve vegan dishes including fried ‘chicken’; beetroot gnocchi and a ‘viking’ pizza.
Like its sister venues, Serata Hall’s wine will be on tap, with 12 different options available, which the owners say will be the biggest selection of tap wine outside the US.
It will also serve five beers on draught, which will change on rotation. Its on-site distillery, meanwhile, will have a gin still to make Small Batch Serata Hall gin.
Serata Hall will also house the Tiny Tower Bakery, which will make pastries, cakes, bread and pizza dough for all of the group's restaurant venues.
