Networking opportunities
Over 4,800 people are expected to visit the show, giving attendees the chance to network with thousands of other buyers and decision makers from across the industry.
Among those confirmed to attend are representatives from Aramark, Azzurri Group, BaxterStorey, Brewhouse and Kitchen, Carluccio's, Domino's Pizza Group, TGI Fridays UK, The New World Trading Company, The Restaurant Group, and Tortilla.
Keynote speakers
A free tickets to the show gives visitors access to two days of seminars from leading industry speakers.
Wednesday will begin with an interview with Loungers chairman Alex Reilley, who will discuss the growth of the booming 140+ site brand.
The ‘Next Big Thing’ panel will see the names behind burgeoning brands such as Blacklock, Flight Club and New World Trading Company reveal how they got started and what the future will hold.
Menu development will take centre stage with representatives from Wagamama and PizzaExpress joining a discussion on how they plan to keep their menus innovative and profitable in 2019 and beyond.
Thursday’s line-up will see the CEO's of Casual Dining Group and Pizza Hut Restaurants share their views on the wider issues facing the casual dining sector, among others.
Exhibitors
Over 220 suppliers will be exhibiting at the show, with products ranging from vegan ice creams, to easy-to-serve cheeseboards and eco-packaging.
New items on show this year include Panasonic UK’s commercial rice cookers, which can safely hold rice hot for up to four hours (stand E51), and MONIN’s reduce-sugar flavoured syrups – suitable for everything from lemonades to cocktails and teas (stand F51).
Eurilait will sample its new range of summer cheese ‘steaks’ and ‘sausages’, designed for the grill as a meat-free alternative in plain or chilli varieties (stand G107).
Hellmann’s will also exhibit its new vegan mayonnaise, made with soybean oil (stand E57), while Slingsby Gin is to preview its gooseberry gin (stand K40).
