Restaurant Eats Out: Coal Drops Yard

Restaurant headed to London's recently opened Coal Drops Yard development for its latest Eats Out food and drink tour.

The line-up included The Coal Office, Vermuteria, Barrafina and The Drop.

The Coal Office is a collaboration between designer Tom Dixon and former The Palomar chef Assaf Granit and serves a Middle East-themed menu.

Anthony Demetre's Vermuteria is inspired by the bodegas and vermuterias of northern Spain and Italy and serves an all-day menu of salads, charcuterie and pastries, alongside a vermouth-based cocktail list.

Barrafina Coal Drops yard follows the success of the Hart Group's authentic tapas restaurants in Soho and Covent Garden and is its biggest to date. The Drop is also part of the Hart Group and trades as a wine bar and small plates venue.
