Chef Luke Thomas launches first London restaurant
The chef has partnered with co-working specialist The Office Group (TOG) to launch a site at the Tintagel House development in Vauxhall, the former home of the Metropolitan Police.
The all-day restaurant occupies 1,700 sq ft and features a grab and go offer.
Thomas made headlines as ‘the UK’s youngest head chef’ when he took charge of Luke’s Dining Room at Sanctum on the Green, a Berkshire country house hotel, aged 18 in 2012.
He appeared on Great British Menu in 2013 and went on to open Luke’s Broadway at Cotswolds hotel The Lygon Arms and Luke’s Eating House in Chester – though both these and his project at Sanctum on the Green have since closed.
Thomas is also behind the Retro Feasts restaurant in Dubai, which appears to be shut for a renovation.
Property agency Shelley Sandzer acted for TOG.
