Zia Lucia will launch its third site when Boxpark Wembley opens on 1 December.

The pizzeria, which currently operates sites in Islington and Hammersmith, will join a lineup of 24 vendor units.

Other businesses new to Boxpark that will be trading at the shipping container development will include fusion dumpling restaurant Ugly Dumpling; Kabab; Indian street food trader Spice Shack; and Italian restaurant Giallo Grano.

Thai Express and The Athenian, who already operate sites at Boxpark’s Croydon site, will also have units at the Wembley location.

Previously announced vendors Shake Shack; Wingstop; and Poptata will no longer be opening outposts at the Wembley site.

The 2000-capacity location will host a variety of events including light shows, and will have a 20,000 sq ft events space.

The development of Boxpark Wembley is part of a £3m regeneration project of Wemley Park and the surrounding area. It aims to drive footfall to the area, and to provide the local community with both leisure activities and jobs.

“Boxpark Wembley will create the ultimate fan experience for anyone watching a match or seeing a concert in one of the world-renowned venues we’ll have on our doorstep,” says Roger Wade, founder and CEO of Boxpark.

“You can expect a diverse selection of fantastic food vendors, from delicious local favourites to established Boxpark staples, and the electric atmosphere that Boxpark has become synonymous with.”

The first Boxpark opened in Shoreditch in 2010 and Boxpark Croydon followed in October 2016.
